Diaper Bag Checklist with ToteSavvy

by ToteSavvy Team on Aug 01, 2023
Are you a new parent or soon-to-be parent? One essential item you'll need is a diaper bag. But what should you pack in it? We've got you covered with our diaper bag checklist to ensure you have everything you need for a successful outing with your little one. Stylish Diaper Bag & ToteSavvy Bag Organizer If you're new to ToteSavvy, let me introduce you to a life-changing product--the ToteSavvy Bag Organizer. When a traditional diaper bag or diaper bag backpack isn't your style, a ToteSavvy Bag Organizer can transform any handbag or tote into a stylish and functional diaper bag. Shown in this post is our Deluxe Bag Organizer with a double-wide cooler pocket. We also offer our ToteSavvy Original and the  ToteSavvy Mini. All are amazing options for organizing your diaper bag--it just depends on the functionality you need and sizing of your bag. Our most requested bag & organizer combination to use for a diaper bag is the ToteSavvy Deluxe and the Marc Jacobs The Tote Bag. It has been a viral bag combo, and we get so excited knowing you love it as much as we do! Diapers It goes without saying that diapers are a must-have in your diaper bag. Pack enough diapers to last for the duration of your outing, plus a few extras, just in case. Remember, it's better to be over-prepared than under-prepared! Wipes Wipes are a lifesaver when it comes to cleaning up messes. Make sure to pack a travel-sized pack of wipes in your diaper bag. They're perfect for quick diaper changes or wiping sticky hands and faces. Changing Pad Don't forget to include a portable changing pad in your diaper bag--the amazing thing is, all ToteSavvy Bag Organizers come with a changing pad! This handy item provides a clean surface for diaper changes, no matter where you are. Diaper Rash Cream Diaper rash can be uncomfortable for your little one. Be prepared by packing a small tube of diaper rash cream in your bag. It will provide instant relief and help prevent further irritation. Hand Sanitizer For after those on-the-go diaper changes you'll want a little hand sanitizer. Grab your favorite and be sure it's always in your bag! Tissues We're suckers for cute slim tissue packs, but boy do they come in handy. Whether your little one has a runny nose, you need to wipe away their tears, or you need a tissue yourself, a small pack always comes in handy. Teethers & Paci Clips Teethers and pacifiers can be a lifesaver when your baby needs soothing. Pack a couple of pacifiers on a paci clip and a teether or two in a Small Clear Pouch to keep them clean in your diaper bag and you'll have a secret weapon packed away when your little one needs calming while on-the-go. Spare Outfit Accidents happen, and it's always a good idea to have a change of clothes on hand. Pack a spare outfit for your baby, including a onesie, pants, socks, and a hat. You'll thank yourself later! We love these onesies from Goumi! Swaddle Blanket Whether you're swaddling your little one or you need a light-weight blanket, we love Harp Angel Swaddle blankets.  Wet Bag There's nothing worse than having a soaked through outfit or oh, gosh, a blow out filled onesie and having no where to put it while you're out. A wet bag comes in handy with those stinky outfits or even a swimsuit if you're headed to the pool or beach. Simply throw the wet/soiled clothes in the wet bag, and the wet bag will protect everything else from getting dirty/wet until you get home! Bottles & Formula If you're bottle-feeding your baby, don't forget to pack bottles and formula/breastmilk in your diaper bag. The ToteSavvy Deluxe has a double-wide cooler pocket that works wonders when transporting formula or breastmilk. We suggest popping in a small ice pack to keep your formula or breastmilk chilled. Snacks If your baby has started eating solid foods, pack some age-appropriate snacks in your diaper bag. This way, you'll always have a healthy option on hand when hunger strikes. Don't forget about a drink and a snack for yourself, too! First Aid Kit & Pill Container No matter how short the outing, an accident can always happen. Keep a travel first aid kit filled with band aids and first aid cream and pill container with extra medicines for yourself in your diaper bag. Key Fob Cover & Card Holder A key fob cover isn't an essential, but it sure does make your keys cute! What is an essential though is a card holder. Slim down your wallet and utilize a stylish card holder. It clips perfectly to the key clasp on a ToteSavvy Bag Organizer so there's no searching for your keys at the bottom of your bag. If you find yourself heading out without your little one, you can grab your keys and card holder and head out the door! Pin Me For Later! Shop the Post! Seven Ways to use the Clear Pouch Trio Set

by ToteSavvy Team on Apr 25, 2023
The ToteSavvy Clear Pouch Trio Set is so versatile and it now comes in two gorgeous colors--Crème & Black! You can use them to organize your travel bag or your baby bag, use them to pack a car kit for your toddler, organize your work bag, and more! Today, we're sharing seven ways you can use them to stay organized. Travel Bag Heading on a trip soon? Use the Clear Pouch Trio Set to organize your carry on bag. The large pouch is great for your planner, a notebook, headphones, or even your laptop--the 13" MacBook Air fits in the large perfectly. The medium pouch can hold your snacks (you always need snacks!), drink mixes, your sunnies, and even your travel jewelry case if you'd like to keep it with you vs in your suitcase. The small pouch is great to use as a travel makeup bag. It might not hold all of your makeup if you travel with a lot, but we love using it for on-the-go touch ups, especially after a long day of travel. Suitcase Organization If you've been looking for a way to organize your travel essentials and toiletries, the Clear Pouches will be your new go-to. The large pouch holds tall hair sprays and styling products and the medium pouch is great for shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a travel hair brush. The small pouch is great for makeup just like in the travel bag! Baby Bag Organizing a baby bag is a strategic task--you need so many essentials at your fingertips, and having them organized is crucial. In the large pouch, think of larger baby essentials like a swaddle, change of clothes (or two!), and a lovey toy. The medium pouch is an ideal size for diapers, wipes, a changing mat, diaper rash cream, hand sanitizer spray, and tissues. The small pouch is perfect for your little one's paci clips, teethers, and spoons and forks. Packing them in the clear pouch keeps them clean and all in one place so a paci is easy to grab when you really need it. Toddler Car Kit If you're headed on a long road trip with your toddler, a car kit is a necessity. Even with easy-access shows and endless Bluey, they still need other things to entertain them. We love filling the clear pouches with some of their favorite toys and mess-free activities. In the large pouch, pack things like reusable sticker books, board books, and mess-free coloring books. In the medium pouch, you can pack a few of their smaller toys like a play phone, learning tablet, or popper. Toddlers love poppers. In the small pouch, pack a few easy-access snacks for them that they can open on their own. Pouches and fruit strips are a must-have when we pack our car kit! Pool/Beach Bag When you're headed to the pool or beach, having a way to pack your essentials to keep them dry and sand-free is a must-have. Whether you're headed with your little one or on your own, we love to use the Clear Pouches for pool and beach trips. If you're with your little one, the large pouch can be used for diaper changing essentials, swim diapers, their swim suit, and a change of clothes. The medium pouch can hold snacks for you and your little one. In the small pouch, we pack sunscreen and a makeup brush to apply the sunscreen to your little one's face. It's the easiest way to blend it all in and make sure their sensitive skin is protected. Hospital Bag If you're currently stressing out about how you're going to organize your hospital bag when you have your sweet baby (or know someone that is), Clear Pouches will help keep everything organized--even your partner will be able to help find everything! The large pouch is great to dedicate to your little one--from their announcement outfit, outfits you want them to wear in the hospital, swaddle, wooden sign (you know we all get one now!), and yes, even accessories! The medium pouch is great to put your toiletries. You won't need much during your stay, but having your shampoo, conditioner, face wash, toothbrush, skincare, etc. will help you feel so much better. The small pouch we used for makeup--you most likely won't need much, but having your makeup for touchups if you plan to take pictures in the hospital with your new addition is a must. OH! Don't forget to pack an extra hair tie or two and chapstick--actual must-haves. Work Bag Head into the office stylish and organized! The Clear Pouch Trio Set helps you organize your gorgeous work tote and keeps your essentials right at your fingertips. The Large Pouch fits up to a 13" laptop--the MacBook Air is shown in the large pouch above along with a full-size planner. The Medium Pouch can hold all your note taking essentials--whether you use a pen and notepad, an iPad, or both! The Small Pouch is perfect for your glasses, tampons, portable charger, card holder, keys, and collapsable phone stand. Keep your smaller essentials together in one place instead of being buried at the bottom of your bag. Happy packing!
5 Unique & Special Baby Shower Gift Ideas

5 Unique & Special Baby Shower Gift Ideas

by ToteSavvy Team on Apr 21, 2023
When it comes to shopping for a baby shower gift, be sure to check their registry first--especially their items marked most wanted. You want to make sure you're getting something they actually need and want. But, that doesn't mean you can't get them something personalized just from you, too. Here are our top picks that we know Mama and baby will love! ToteSavvy Bag Organizer Give the stylish Mama-To-Be functionality and organization so she doesn't have to sacrifice her personal style to a traditional diaper bag when the baby arrives. ToteSavvy Bag Organizers turn a favorite handbag or tote into a functional baby bag. They feature insulated cooler pockets, key clasps, various-sized pockets perfect for extra outfits, diapers, wipes, pacis, teethers, and they even come with a changing mat. The amazing thing about ToteSavvy Bag Organizers is that they perfectly transition from baby to toddler, one of each, and yes, even everyday or work when she finds she doesn't need to carry around a ton of essentials for her little one(s). Self-Care Essentials for the Mama-To-Be Often times, we're so focused on finding every cute thing for this sweet new baby that we forget about the Mama who's carrying, nourishing, and growing them. A few self-care essentials for the new mama-to-be are a heavenly gift idea. You can include things like 10-Minute hand masks, cozy socks, belly oil, a You're Doing Great mug, a luxurious lip balm, or even a gift card to their favorite restaurant/coffee shop so they can grab it to go when the baby is here. Focusing on Mama is crucial both before and after the baby is here, so be the one to focus more on her and her needs vs when you can just hold and see the baby--she will always remember and thank you for that. That type of support, especially postpartum means the absolute world. This is even something you can put together in a little basket and bring over to her the day you head over to meet the little one. Cheer her up with something just for her when everyone else is focused on baby. A book with a letter from you to baby inside the front cover Everyone loves to grab a book or two for baby, but take it to the next level and add a special note or letter from you to the baby inside the front cover. Many years down the road, that sweet little one will be able to read and know they're loved and were thought of before they were even born. Handmade blanket Cue the tears if you're sappy and sentimental, but this is one of the sweetest and most special things you can do if you're crafty. Find out what the nursery colors and theme will be, and craft something special from the heart. I personally had three people make blankets for my little dude, and what do you know, those are some of his favorite blankets to snuggle with. I love knowing that they were made from the heart especially for him, and his two year old little heart feels that, too. A pack of diapers with messages written on them Here's your time to shine if you're funny or sentimental or maybe a little bit of both! Help make the late night diaper changes, the blow outs, and the first few weeks of parenthood a little bit funnier and sweeter. I remember changing my son's diaper at all hours of the night during those first few weeks, and seeing something hilarious that a family member wrote on a diaper gave some much needed comic relief. Even the simple reminder of "You're doing great" is bound to brighten up a new parent's night. Be sure to check their registry and buy their desired diapers. We hope these ideas help as you're preparing to celebrate a loved one or friend's new little addition.

10 Postpartum Recovery Essentials

10 Postpartum Recovery Essentials

by ToteSavvy Team on Mar 23, 2023
Often times, we end up focusing more on what the baby needs versus what we need as new moms to recover. The more we focus on ourselves, especially in those first few days postpartum, the better our recovery will be, and the easier it will be to take care of that sweet newborn baby. Postpartum is not easy by any means--it's filled with blood, sweat, and tears, cause dang, postpartum hormones are crazy! We wanted to share our top 10 favorite products that will help your postpartum journey be just a little bit easier. Frida Postpartum Recovery Kit This kit from Frida Mom has so many amazing essentials that you will find helpful. We know that hospitals usually send you home with a bag full of essentials, but I personally found that the Frida Mom essentials were better than what I received from the hospital, and helped my healing. From the disposable undies, (I like to call these the fancy ones--you know, the ones you wear when family come over to visit and see the baby in those first couple of weeks) to the Frida Mom Perineal Healing Foam and cooling pads, you will want this kit. The Healing Foam is an actual game-changer, and I highly recommend grabbing an extra one--a few pumps of the Healing Foam on your pad makes everything feel just a little bit better. Clear Pouch Trio Set The Clear Pouch Trio Set is the key to keeping all of this organized. Whether you have a basket on the back of the toilet or throw everything on the bathroom counter, this set will help you keep your pads, disposable undies, tablets, and cooling kits organized so they're easy to find and grab when you need them. The best part--you can now choose from the gorgeous crème color or our brand new color--black! Frida Peri Bottle This is another one of those better than the hospital items. The one the hospital gives you doesn't quite aim the way you need it to, and it doesn't hold as much water. The Frida Peri Bottle squirts at pretty much any angle you need it, it holds plenty of water, and it helps you feel clean and fresh...since hopefully you already know, toilet paper will hurt like a mother. Frida Sitz Bath Tablets Oh, the first bath postpartum is the worst and the best all at the same time. The worst--mainly because you don't know what to expect once you hit the water, and the best, because you're finally getting your body clean and refreshed after giving birth. These Sitz Bath Tablets are pre-measured, so you can pop one in a warm bath and relax your way to postpartum healing. Always Discreet Boutique Disposable Undies You will be fabulous in your disposable undies--it's what all the postpartum moms are wearing. haha! In all seriousness, these undies make postpartum recovery so much easier. A hack to make the undies last longer is to line them with an Always Discreet Boutique Pad. This way, you switch out the pad and don't waste the disposable undies each trip to the bathroom. High-Waisted Undies When you finally feel ready to upgrade back to regular undies, these ones from Target are so comfortable and stretchy. They don't press into your stomach--especially if you've just had a C-Section. Breast Therapy Ice Packs Whether you're breast feeding or not, these Ice Packs will be a must-have--at least for the first week or so--even longer depending on your body. Definitely recommend having these on hand! Nursing/Maternity Bras You'll want to be comfy and feel supported! These nursing/maternity bras are so comfortable and there is a 6-clasp closure so you can adjust sizing based on your postpartum journey. It also has the easy-access cups for convenient access. Nursing Pads These reusable nursing pads will be a game-changer to put in your nursing bra--not only will they keep leaks confined, they will help keep your clothes from being ruined from leaking stains! Tucks Cooling Kit This cooling kit is heavenly when it comes to postpartum recovery. The pads help to cool and then cream helps to numb and soothe. There's all sorts of things happening down there, and you'll want a little numbing/soothing action. Microwavable Heating Pad You would think that the contraction-like cramps would be done after your little ones is born, but, as your body is healing and recovering, you will experience some cramping. A heating pad is so easy to toss in the microwave and it will give you some relief. Pin Me For Later! What are some items that were a must-have in your Postpartum Recovery Kit? Pack your lunch // You can fit a LunchBots Bento Box and can of sparkling water perfectly. There's plenty of space to add a protein bar and ice pack as well! Pack your breakfast // Depending on your daily routine--if you find yourself eating your breakfast on-the-go, you can pack a yogurt, can/bottle of water or even a canned coffee along with an ice pack. It's so convenient to have breakfast with you so there's no need to stop anywhere! Pack 3 Cans // Are you headed out for an adventure? You can fit 3-4 cans comfortably in the cooler pocket. Say hello to easy packing when it comes to your summer beach tote and you want to bring along a few spiked seltzers and waters to the beach! Be sure to add an ice pack--the cooler pocket will help them stay cool, but you always want to be safe when traveling with formula or breastmilk. Depending on the style of bottles your little ones uses, you can fit 2 Phillips Advent style bottles comfortably, 3 is a tight fit as these are a wider style bottle. If you have thinner bottles like Dr. Brown's, you can fit 3 across. Pack your toddler's favorite snacks // If you'll be out and about with your toddler, you know they need an endless supply of snacks! You can pack their sippy cup, pouches, and snack bars, and more! If your little one opens but doesn't finish one of their pouches, you can put it back in the insulated cooler pocket to keep it cool. Trending Backpacks Organized & Packed Three Ways Using the ToteSavvy Mini

by ToteSavvy Team on Feb 27, 2023
We get asked all the time on Instagram if we have an organizer that will fit a backpack, and the answer to that is YES!! Our Mini Bag Organizer is the perfect size for most backpacks and can help you stay organized no matter what you're packing for. The most requested to see was baby & toddler backpacks and everyday backpacks, so that's what we'll be focusing on in this post! A backpack for you & your toddler // When it comes to packing for your and your toddler, you still find yourself needing diapers, wipes, an extra outfit, and an endless supply of snacks. The ToteSavvy Mini helps keep these essentials organized. Don't forget, the Mini has an included changing mat, insulated pocket, and the center pocket fits a full-size wallet. The Go Dash Dot Maya Backpack is a great option to use, too! It fits the Mini and your essentials perfectly, and there are several additional pockets that you can still use for other essentials. The bottom of the backpack has quite a large pocket that is perfect for spare clothes for you & your toddler, an extra pair of play shoes, or even a picnic blanket if you're headed out for a park lunch date! A backpack for you & baby // The Dagne Dover Dune Backpack and the ToteSavvy Mini in Almond are a gorgeous combo for a baby bag--especially if you love a neutral pink or have a sweet baby girl! Of course, when packing for baby, you need a spare outfit, bottle, diapers, wipes, diaper cream, and a paci clip. Inside the backpack, you can also fit a swaddle, there's a padded laptop pocket should you need to bring yours along, and a second back section that is roomy as well. Another great feature about this backpack is it has several small pockets on the back and sides for easy-access to your smaller essentials, your little one's toys, or extra snacks! Since the backpack is rather deep, you could also stock it filled with extra diapers along the bottom--it's always helpful to have more diapers than you think you'll need. That's the last thing you want to run out of while on-the-go with your little one. An everyday backpack // We are love, loving the MZ Wallace Metro Backpack with the ToteSavvy Mini in Soft Grey. It's such a good everyday, neutral combo. In our everyday bag example, we wanted to pack it to the brim to show you just how much the Mini can help organize. We packed a laptop charger, water bottle in the insulated cooler pocket, a full-size wallet in the center pocket, snacks and water mixes, keys on the key clasp, a hair clip, and a few other small essentials that fit in the convenient small pockets. Inside the backpack in addition to the Mini, the Metro Backpack has a padded laptop pocket and space to pack your planner, too. 10 Must Haves For Your Baby Registry

by ToteSavvy Team on Feb 22, 2023
It's always a struggle to know what you actually need for your little one, and building a baby registry can honestly be intimating when there are so many baby products out there to go through. We're a team of Mamas who have tested, used, and love these products. We want to save you the time and the guess work and give you some of the reasons why we love these products and know you will, too! ToteSavvy Bag Organizer Every Mama--both new and seasoned should have a ToteSavvy Bag Organizer. Here's why: As Mamas, we sacrifice and give up enough--our bodies, our sleep, our sanity...the list goes on, but one thing we shouldn't sacrifice is our personal style. Stay true to who you are, yes, even when you become a Mama, and rock your favorite handbag or tote as your baby bag! Now you might be thinking that sounds so impractical. Well, that's where the ToteSavvy Bag Organizer comes in! Our Bag Organizers were made by a Mama who couldn't find a way to organize her favorite bags, so she made a way so we could all find happiness in using our bags in motherhood. The pockets are designed to keep your essentials and your little one's essentials organized and secure. The varied pocket sizes make the perfect fit for everyday essentials like your wallet, change of clothes, diapers and wipes in the larger pockets, and lip balm, AirPods, etc. in the smaller pockets. The Deluxe Organizer features a zippered cooler pocket and the Original and Mini feature a single cooler pocket. With either organizer, you can bring along a bottle, sippy cup, or even snacks and keep them in the insulated pocket. January Moon Teethers & Paci Clips These gorgeous Teethers and Paci Clips will be loved by both you and your little one. They are made with premium materials that include 100% non-toxic silicone, Japanese rope, and safety compliant metal. The Paci Clips hook to your little one's favorite paci, while also providing a soothing teether and sensory play while you're at home or out on the go. Same as the teethers--a convenient way to soothe your little one's gums and provide a little comfort when they need it most. EllaOla Baby Skincare When it comes to choosing skincare for your little one, you want it to be the absolute best made with the highest-quality of ingredients. EllaOla is USDA Organic Certified, and all of the ingredients that are in the lotions, body washes, and oils are ingredients you can pronounce and you know! The lotions and oils help hydrate and nourish your little one's skin without fragrances, essential oils or parabens or irritating their skin. Know when you choose to use EllaOla for your little one, you're choosing a brand that cares about what is in their products, because they want the best for your little one just as much as you do. ToteSavvy Travel Clothing Organizer Make every trip a little less chaotic with ToteSavvy Travel. The separate mesh pockets fit individual outfits, making it quick and easy for you or your child to grab what they need without disturbing anything else. The organizer includes 6 mesh pockets, 2 clear zipper pockets, a large garment section on the reverse side, and a swivel hook to hang from a closet rod or door knob. ToteSavvy Travel folds in half and is secured with two Velcro tabs for compact storage. The garment section fits a child size hanger. Organizer sized for newborn - 5T clothing. Check out this post on 3 Ways To Use The ToteSavvy Travel Clothing Organizer. You'll be surprised on how many ways you can use it--not just for travel! Nuna Car Seat and Stroller Travel System The Nuna is a ToteSavvy founder favorite--in fact, our team loves the Nuna. From the versatility, comfort, and innovative safety, there's so much to love about it. The extendable canopy that offers UPF 50+ protection is loved by both parents and littles. The stroller also conveniently folds up and is compact for easy stowaway in the car! As if that's not enough, did we also mention how stylish it is?! Just imagine your favorite tote hanging off a stroller hook with a ToteSavvy Bag Organizer inside--pure perfection as you head into motherhood! ToteSavvy Clear Pouch Trio Set Let me introduce you to your new favorite set of travel accessories. If you love staying organized while on-the-go or even every day when you're at home, then you will love this Clear Pouch Trio Set. They're made with a clear TPU material, trimmed with cream-colored vegan leather and a gold zipper. The pouches are water-resistant and can be wiped clean. Not only can you use them to pack toiletries for you and your little one, you can use them for diapers, wipes, spare clothes, and anything else you might need for baby. We love to use the small pouch in our everyday bag for makeup or even teethers and spare pacis for your little one. If you follow up on Instagram, you've seen the popular Toddler Car Kit with the Clear Pouch Trio Set--such a genius way to use them for your toddler! Boppy Pillow The Boppy Pillow can be used in so many different ways during different stages for your newborn. Whether you're nursing your sweet one or bottle feeding, it's amazing for support during feeding. Once they're a little bigger around three months old, you can use it to prop them up. The best is when they move to tummy time and try so hard to keep their head up. Then, once they've grown up oh so fast, you can use the Boppy Pillow to help them sit up. There are so many cute cover patterns, too, and having an extra cover or two is always helpful! Always remember--Boppy Pillows are never for sleep, and you should always be with your little one while using it. EllaOla Brush & Comb Set This is the cutest set that can be used from newborn through childhood. The super soft brush is made with 100% goat hair, so it can help gently brush away cradle cap and dry skin. The Massage Hair Brush is made with natural bamboo and can be used dry or wet (perfect for after bath time!) and helps to massage the scalp and promote circulation. The Rounded Bamboo Comb helps to detangle your little one's hair. All three combined create a mini spa experience for your little one right at home. The sizing is also great for everyday use and for travel! Halo Baby Bassinet Mamas--if you're looking for bassinet that allows you to sleep next to your little one, the Halo Bassinet swivels right over your bed giving you an extra close, safe sleep. One of the best features is the lowering wall that is also lockable when not in use. It's perfect for that first month or so postpartum when moving around is still a challenge--especially if you've just had a c-section. The mesh walls also give you peace of mind knowing they're breathable and safe for your little one. A fitted sheet and mattress is included, though, we recommend grabbing a few extra Halo sheets for those middle of the night blowouts and spit ups. It's honestly game changing to have a few spare sheets ready to go. Nanit Baby Monitor When it comes to your baby's sleep, monitoring them while you're away from them is always top of mind. Think about how many times you've stared at a baby to make sure they're breathing or felt under their nose to make sure you feel air, because they're in a deep sleep, and they barely move. We've all been there as parents, but the Nanit gives parents peace of mind, so you can set the monitor and let your little one sleep so you can get a little sleep, too. The breathing pattern, whether it's the included band wrapped and secured, the swaddle, or pajamas, will track your little one's breathing. It will show their breathing patterns, sleep trends, how often they wake up in the middle of the night, and even send noise alerts when they wake up. If you have two little ones, the Nanit also offers split screen so you can see two littles at once! It's perfect if you have an infant and a toddler or even twins. It's innovative technology that makes your life as a parent easier, so you can worry less about your sweet little one and enjoy as much of a restful sleep that you can.   What are your must-haves for a baby registry? 3 Ways To Use The Travel Clothing Organizer

by ToteSavvy Team on Feb 16, 2023
You’ve seen the Travel Clothing Organizer used to pack little one’s clothing for a trip, but so many of you have asked for ideas on how else you can use them and for an adult version, so we wanted to share with you how you can use the Travel Clothing Organizer in other ways! Vacation & Paradise Travel It’s almost time for vacation season to begin, and we want to make sure you’re organized & ready for the fun you’re about to have! The Travel Clothing Organizer will be ideal for light-weight adult clothing, like tanks, linen shorts, bathing suits, undergarments, and even athletic leggings and sports bras. All too often, we find ourselves struggling to find the matching bathing suit set, undergarments get lost in the shuffle, and the extra tank we packed is suddenly missing in the mound of clothes we packed…but totally didn’t need. #Overpackersunite Keep your must-haves packed in the Travel Clothing Organizer and hang it up as soon as you get to your destination. This way, you can keep your smaller items organized and separate from your other clothing and essentials. The clear, zippered pockets can be used for items you’ll need quickly like sunscreen, a travel hair brush, hair accessories and touch up makeup. Weekly Clothes Planning If you have a little one, but you want to find a way to use the Travel Clothing Organizer everyday, these next two ideas are going to be mind blowing. Use it to plan your little one’s weekly outfits. Put one outfit each in the pockets for the week ahead to give your toddler and little ones more independence when it comes to getting dressed. We all know our little ones have a strong will to learn and grow, so let’s create an easy way to give them that! In the clear, zippered pockets, you can put items like their socks, undies, hair brush and hair accessories so they’re easy to reach. You’ll be sure to see their little face light up every time they choose their outfit, and you don’t have to worry about them leaving the house super mismatched! Parenting Pro Tip: Put their pajamas in the lowest drawer of their dresser to give them a little more independence in choosing their pajamas after bath time, too! Changing Station If you have a little one that’s not quite ready for outfit planning, use the Travel Clothing Organizer for your everyday benefit. You can use it to keep your changing station organized. No matter if you use it in the nursery, have it hanging in the living room or in the playroom, it’s such a convenient way to make sure you have everything you need to change your little one no matter where you are in your home. Stock up the pockets with diapers, wipes, a couple spare outfits (blowouts happen no matter where you are!) changing pad, and a swaddle. In the clear, zippered pockets, you can keep things like diaper rash cream, a spare paci & paci clip, teethers, and hand sanitizer spray. Do you have any other ideas on how you would use the Travel Clothing Organizer?! Send us a DM on Instagram to let us know!

Work Bag Essentials

by ToteSavvy Team on Jan 30, 2023
A successful day starts with being organized, so we're sharing how we organize our work bag, and a few of our favorite essentials we know you'll love, too! Our ToteSavvy Deluxe Bag Organizer is a fan-favorite to use as a work bag organizer turning your favorite tote or handbag into your dream (and organized!) work bag. The plush-lined laptop pocket holds up to a 13" laptop so you can safely bring your laptop wherever work takes you. The zippered cooler pocket is perfect for your lunch and snacks. We love using a  LunchBots Bento Box for our lunch and/or snacks. You can pop it in the fridge at work or keep it in the cooler pocket with an ice pack while you're out and about. The Deluxe Bag Organizer has so many various-sized pockets perfect for other essentials like your laptop and phone chargers, portable charger, your phone in the phone pocket for easy access, AirPods, water bottle, keys and card holder on the key ring, highlighters, and planners and notepads, too! Another essential we love is the Clear Pouch Trio Set. The Small Pouch is perfect for bringing along any touch up makeup before your big meeting (everyone is always extra confident with a fresh lippie!) or maybe you're headed for a night out with the girls after work. You could even use the Small Pouch for pens, highlighters, paper clips or small office supplies while you're on the go. The ToteSavvy Deluxe & Small Clear Pouch is shown in the Madewell Transport Tote. No matter what your work day brings, stay organized with ToteSavvy, and go crush your yearly goals!

What's In My Bag: Hannah Fastov of Go Dash Dot

by ToteSavvy Team on Feb 07, 2022
For Hannah Fastov, founder of bag brand Go Dash Dot being organized is essential to keeping her busy life running smoothly. Her line of bags and totes are brilliantly designed for life on-the-go. For an added layer of organization, she pairs the Easy Tote 2 with the ToteSavvy Deluxe Organizer. Hannah shares what she packs in her ToteSavvy on any given day.  HI! I’m Hannah Fastov, founder of Go Dash Dot and Mom to the cutest pup in the world, Carmela. I founded Go Dash Dot five years ago out of my personal quest to find one bag that could carry all my stuff (laptop, chargers, snacks, change of clothes), keep it organized, and maintain my stylish yet professional aesthetic.  Each bag is designed with a reinvented combination of pockets and compartments to provide a versatile, lightweight bag for women on the go. So you can imagine my excitement when I found ToteSavvy - the perfect partner for my Go Dash Dot tote that gives me room for even more stuff AND keeps it organized.  I am constantly running back and forth from my warehouse to my office to my at- home office to my Mom’s house (we work together!) and at some point squeezing in a workout. I do a lot in a day all of which requires a lot of stuff. I have been obsessed with using the ToteSavvy Deluxe Organizer with my Easy Tote 2. The cooler pocket, which is my favorite pocket in the ToteSavvy deluxe insert, is perfect for the chocolate RX bar I always have on me as well my favorite on-the-go breakfast - egg muffins. I also always have multiple chargers that I stash in the smaller pockets to keep them untangled and easy to find and love the padded pocket for my iPad. In the longer pockets I put a rolled up workout outfit. And then I have masks, hand sanitizer, lip gloss, toys and treats for my pup, which are each stored in its own section so it doesn’t get lost at the bottom of the bag and very accessible the moment I need them. I absolutely love my ToteSavvy and the extra organization it provides.   Packing list:  Rx Bar  La Croix (pamplemousse flavor!!!)  Water bottle  Laptop Notebook  iPad Mask Chargers  Sports bra and leggings  A toy for Carmela

Totesavvy is the perfect pair for my big bag - it’s like peanut butter to chocolate or grilled cheese to tomato soup. ToteSavvy makes any bag organized and easy to navigate. For whatever reason, an organized bag makes my scattered mom brain feel a little less scattered.  What I'm Carrying:  Diapers  Wipes Bum cream Gathre mat Portable white noise machine Laid back snacks (love the cracked pepper pistachios) and granola bars Swaddle blanket Back up onsie Soother Chew toy  Bonnet Breast pump  And sometimes I throw in my studio noos change pad as well Follow along at @adrienneneufield!

New Year, New Organization

by ToteSavvy Team on Jan 05, 2022
A new year signals new beginnings and a fresh start, which is why we asked professional organizer Corinne of Grid + Glam to give us her top tips on getting organized for the year ahead.  We all deserve a well-earned round of applause for surviving another year in a pandemic. If you’re anything like me, you really can’t wrap your head around where this past year went. And despite feeling a pang of sadness at time lost, you’re so ready for a fresh year, a fresh start, a fresh you! As a professional organizer who helps busy women get organized everyday, I know all too well how difficult it has been to feel like we are on top of it all.  But it is possible! You deserve a wonderful and satisfying life, so I’m sharing my top five tips to bring the best version of yourself into 2022. Cut out all the excess A fresh start is not just about new habits, new routines, and new choices. It actually starts with cutting out everything that is no longer serving us. Think about all the things in your life that make you feel, well, blah. It might be excess clutter, a mile-long to do list, too many plans that you don’t really feel like doing. Cut it all out.  There’s tons of research showing a link between clutter and increased cortisol levels, which impact our physical health. And there’s a whole body of other research that shows how clutter negatively impacts our mental health. When we get really intentional about what we allow to stay in our lives, we free up our space and mental energy for what makes us feel really good.  Remember that if it’s not a heck yes, it’s a heck no You might be thinking, ok, that sounds great. But how do I put this in action? Try this tangible tip: when you are faced with a decision, ask yourself if this (you fill in the blank here - item, plans, food, drink, etc.) is a heck yes. If it is, then it’s meant for you. But if it’s a maybe, a sorta, an I’m not sure… then, friend, it’s a heck no. You don’t need it in your life. This simple gut check will always point you in the right direction. Make your life as easy as possible Now that you’re committed to cutting out the excess and saying “heck no” to everything that doesn't light you up, identify all the remaining pain points in your life and make simple shifts to improve them. Your day-to-day life deserves to be as easy as possible.  Are you constantly looking for your keys and sunglasses? Create a dedicated spot by your door - maybe even get a pretty tray - and start a new habit of leaving your sunglasses and keys there every.single.time you get home.  Do you love switching bags often but can’t deal with switching out your items? The Totesavvy Mini will fit in every purse you have. Fill it with your essentials, and swap it into whatever bag you're bringing that day. If you find these little pain points throughout your day and swap them out with a simple hack, you will be amazed at how much extra time and energy you create.  Adopt a weekly reset practice All the new habits and routines you’re adopting are amazing, but we all know that life gets hectic and sometimes it feels impossible to be on top of it all every day. Commit to doing a once-weekly reset to set yourself up for success long term. I love setting aside a few hours on a Sunday to tidy up the house, do some meal prep, complete a few loads of laundry, and fill up the gas tank. Most importantly, the weekly reset can truly change the way your life runs all week long. So, don’t think of this as another set of tasks to do: it’s really a gift you are giving yourself to live a more centered, satisfied life. Bring on the glam! A lot of us think that getting organized is synonymous with living with less. And in many ways that’s true. But in my world, living with less excess means more time, more space and more money for the glam life. Buy fewer, but nicer quality items that you’ll be obsessed with for years to come. Fill your life with passion and experiences, instead of stuff. Create breathing room for self-care and beauty appointments, or yoga and walks in nature. The magic of an organized life is that you get to decide what the glam life means to you, and you have the time and energy to actually create it and live it. It’s been a long year, and now is the perfect opportunity to bring a new energy into our lives. With the five steps I shared today, and the deep knowledge that you deserve a wonderful and satisfying life, I know that you are going to bring the best version of yourself into 2022! Corinne Morahan is the founder of the G+G Membership and the CEO of Grid + Glam, an organizing and media company designed to give busy women back their beautiful spaces and the breathing room they deserve. You can find more organizing tips on her website, GridandGlam, and her Instagram.
